New members, particularly string players, are most welcome.
Young students are able to join the orchestra free of charge and generally stay until A-levels are finished and higher
education calls them away.
The younger members are often active with the various youth orchestras in the county and perform to a high standard.
String players are always required and there is an on-going need to encourage new and existing ones to continue playing.
The orchestra is also grateful for the support given by experienced players from time to time, at rehearsals and at concerts.
They encourage the members and add to the enjoyment of performance.

Rehearsals are on Mondays at 7:30pm at the Sam Newsom Music Centre, Boston.
